The Sebino was the first model to be fully built in series production by Riva. Initially, a planked construction method was used. The boat was equipped with a 4-cylinder, 60 hp Chris-Craft B-type engine and was entirely built from Honduras mahogany. The windscreen, originally made up of two sections, was only replaced in the final year of production by a single curved screen. In 1956, the bottom and deck were constructed from waterproof plywood. The interior upholstery consisted of a combination of green vinyl and red-green checked fabric. The design, with its open layout and various storage options, made the Sebino particularly suitable for recreational use.
