On 26 June 2001, the Riva Society Netherlands (RSN) was founded by a group of owners of classic Rivas, who wished to share their enthusiasm for these beautiful Italian classics with other Dutch owners. Our founding statutes state that organising cruising events and gatherings is one of the Society’s primary objectives. In addition, we aim to actively involve as many Dutch owners of classic Rivas as possible in the association.

The Netherlands is home to a relatively large number of Rivas. This is partly due to the country’s historic connection with the brand, but above all to the early appreciation by Dutch enthusiasts of the craftsmanship and elegance of these classic mahogany speedboats.

The RSN is part of the Italian Riva Historical Society (RHS), an international umbrella organisation open to all affiliated clubs. The RHS manages the historical archive, organises events, oversees club merchandising and publishes the magazine Viva Riva for its international members. Every RSN member is automatically enrolled as a member of the RHS and can make use of its services.
If you are interested in becoming a member of the Riva Society Netherlands and own a classic wooden Riva, you can apply to the RSN via the membership form. On behalf of the Board of the Riva Society Netherlands, we would like to extend a warm welcome to you.
Kind regards,
